Battles Crate Racin' USA Competitors at EAMS
(September
22, 2025) Cody Overton, of Evans,
Georgia, competed in the 53rd edition of the
'Alabama State Championship' on September
20-21 at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix
City, Alabama. In Crate Racin' USA preliminary
action on Saturday, Cody timed in seventh
quickest in his group during 604 Late Model
qualifying and later vaulted up to finish
second in his heat race. After rolling off
from the inside of the third row in Sunday's
$10,000 to win headliner, Cody was running
in the fourth spot late in the 50-lap distance.
Unfortunately, he pulled off the racing surface
on the final circuit with trouble and was
relegated to a thirteenth place showing. Full

of Top Tens Against Outlaw Foes in Peach State
(September
14, 2025) World of Outlaws Real American
Beer Late Model Series competition heated back
up on September 12-13 with a doubleheader weekend
in the Peach State. On Friday night in front
of a record crowd at Needmore Speedway in Norman
Park, Georgia, Cody Overton placed fourth in
his heat race before climbing up to finish fifth
in the 40-lap feature behind only $12,000 victor
Nick Hoffman, Bobby Pierce, Brian Shirley, and
Tanner English. With a $15,000 payday up for
grabs in Saturday's annual 'Billy Clanton Classic'
at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia, Cody ran
third in his heat race and tenth in the final

Busy with Southern Nationals Series
(July
20, 2025) The Steine Motorsports team
and driver Cody Overton invaded five different
southern ovals from July 14-19 with the Schaeffer's
Oil Southern Nationals Series. Cody's best effort
came on Tuesday night in a $7,553 to win showdown
at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The
Evans, Georgia standout timed in third quickest
in Group A during the qualifying session to earn
the fifth starting spot for the 40-lap feature
event. At the end of the contest, Cody found himself
in the seventh finishing position.
In other action during the hectic
week, Cody finished eleventh on Monday in the
$7,552 to win 'Scott Sexton Memorial' at Volunteer
(TN) Speedway, eighteenth on Thursday at Senoia
(GA) Raceway, eleventh on Friday at Swainsboro
(GA) Raceway, and seventeenth on Saturday in the
$10,053 to win 'Rebel Yell' at Screven (GA) Motor

Overton Enters Dirt Late Model Dream
(June
8, 2025) The #2 team invaded the famed
Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 4-7
for the 31st edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.'
The long week at the 1/2-mile, high-banked venue
started on Wednesday night with a $20,000 to win
FloRacing Night in America Series contest. Cody
Overton ran fifth in his heat race and sixth in
his B-Main.
In his $30,000 'Dirt Late Model Dream'
prelim night on Friday evening, Cody placed eleventh
in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main. With a
whopping $100,000 top prize up for grabs in Saturday's
grand finale, Cody chose to scratch from his heat
race rather than start fourteenth on the grid in
his prelim. Unfortunately, the Evans, Georgia ace
was unable to crack the starting grid for the three

Overton Runner-Up in Harvey Jones Memorial!
(May
26, 2025) Moonlighting in a #00 machine over
Memorial Day weekend at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville,
Florida and Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Georgia,
Cody Overton competed in a pair of Crate Late Model
specials. On Saturday, May 24 in the annual 'Harvey
Jones Memorial' at All-Tech, Cody ran second in his
heat race and later finished a close runner-up in
the 50-lap headliner behind only $10,000 winner Austin
Yarbrough. At Cochran on Sunday, May 25 with a $1,500
paycheck up for grabs, Cody qualified fourth quickest
in time trials, but ran into issues during the 25-lapper
and was paid for a disappointing twelfth place showing.

of Top Tens for Overton on Outlaws Trail
(May
19, 2025) Following Illinois Speedweek, the
#2 team entered five more races in the states of Iowa,
Ohio, and Pennsylvania from May 13-18 and Cody Overton
amassed a pair of top ten performances. His best efforts
of the week came with the World of Outlaws Real American
Beer Late Model Series at Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio
and Marion Center Raceway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania.
On Thursday in a $12,000 to win battle at Raceway 7,
Cody ran fourth in his heat race prior to passing six
competitors during the 35-lapper to land in the seventh
finishing position. In the 'Connor Bobik Memorial' on
Saturday at Marion Center, which boasted a $30,000 payday,
Cody won his heat race and knocked down a strong sixth
place showing in the 60-lap headliner.
In other action, Lil' Sexy finished seventeenth
on Tuesday in a $20,000 to win FloRacing Night in America
Series contest at Marshalltown (IA) Speedway and twelfth
on Sunday in a $20,000 to win World of Outlaws Late
Model Series program at the sprawling Bedford (PA) Speedway.
Friday's $12,000 to win WOOLMS showdown at Marion Center
(PA) Raceway was unfortunately lost due to inclement

Busy During Hectic Illinois Speedweek
(May
11, 2025) The Steine Motorsports team tackled
a hectic Illinois Speedweek from May 6-10, as five high-profile
events were held in the Land of Lincoln. While Cody Overton
unfortunately missed out on features on Thursday at Lincoln
(IL) Speedway and on Saturday at Fairbury (IL) Speedway,
he was able to transfer into three main events against
some of the toughest fields that he will see all year.
On Tuesday night at LaSalle (IL) Speedway, Cody placed
fifth in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and twenty-third
in the $20,000 to win FloRacing Night in America Series
headliner.
At Spoon River (IL) Speedway on Wednesday
evening in a similar $20,000 to win throwdown, the Evans,
Georgia star qualified second quickest in his group during
time trials before winning his heat race and finishing
fourteenth in the 50-lapper. On Friday at Farmer City
(IL) Raceway, a $25,000 top prize was up for grabs in
the annual running of the 'Farmer City 74,' which was
sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Cody
grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race
prior to finishing thirteenth in the final rundown of

Overton Tackles Dairyland Showdown at MTS
(May
4, 2025) The condensed 'Dairyland Showdown' took
place on May 2-3 at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain
City, Wisconsin. With Mother Nature taking the victory on
Thursday night, a $25,000 top prize was up for grabs on
Friday evening to kick off the World of Outlaws Real American
Beer Late Model Series doubleheader. Cody Overton ran third
in his heat race prior to finishing fourteenth in the final
rundown of the 50-lap weekend opener.
In Saturday's grand finale, which boasted
a $30,000 paycheck, Cody started off his evening by timing
in nineteenth fastest in Group A during qualifying prior
to placing sixth in both his heat race and his B-Main. After
utilizing a provisional to start near the back of the pack
in the 50-lapper, the Evans, Georgia standout ultimately
picked off ten competitors to record another fourteenth
place performance. Cody is now seventh in the latest WOOLMS

Flat Tire Drops Overton in Alabama Gang 100
(April
27, 2025) Following a rain-out of Friday’s
$12,000 to win weekend opener at Talladega Short Track, Dave
Steine Motorsports was one of the 44 teams in the pit area
at the Eastaboga, Alabama facility on Saturday, April 26 for
the completion of the ‘Alabama Gang 100.’ The
World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presided
over the action and a whopping $50,000 first place prize was
up for grabs.
Cody Overton timed in ninth fastest in Group
B during the qualifying session before running fourth in his
loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the
seventh row in the 100-lap headliner, Cody was inside of the
top ten late in the distance when he suffered an untimely
flat tire on lap 99. The Evans, Georgia ace was unfortunately
dropped to twentieth in the final finishing order. Complete

for Cody Overton in $20k Illini 100 Finale
(April
13, 2025) On April 11-12, the #2 team was in World
of Outlaws Late Model Series competition in the annual 'Illini
100' at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. On Friday
night with a $12,000 payday up for grabs in the opener, Cody
Overton went for a wild flip during qualifying, unloaded a back-up
car for the remainder of the show, and ultimately salavaged
a fourteenth place effort in the 40-lap feature. With a $20,000
winner's check on the line on Saturday evening, Cody secured
a heat race victory before winding up seventh in the final rundown
