Cody Overton Concludes Season with $10,000 Win!

(November 26, 2023) The 2023 season for Cody Overton came to a triumphant end over the November 24-25 weekend in the annual 'Turkey 100' at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia! After vaulting from thirteenth to finish fourth in Friday's $2,500 to win 604 Late Model opener, Cody timed in second fastest in Group A on Saturday before running second in his heat race. The Evans, Georgia ace then rolled off from the outside of the second row in the 50-lap headliner and worked his way past older brother Brandon Overton to grab the point on the 32nd circuit. Cody then led the rest of the way to pocket the $10,000 first place prize money over Will Roland, Carson Ferguson, Pearson Lee Williams, and Brandon Overton!

Behind the wheel of a 602 Late Model, Cody advanced five spots during Friday's $1,500 to win main event to land in the sixth finishing position. Overton Pockets $10,000 for Early Bird 50 Triumph!!

(November 19, 2023) Cody Overton's tenth victory of the 2023 campaign came on November 17-18 in the 12th Annual 'Early Bird 50' at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia! After clicking off the quickest time in his group during Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series qualifying on Friday night, Cody grabbed the second transfer spot through his loaded heat race. He then rolled off from the inside of the fourth row in Saturday's 50-lap headliner and paced the stout field for the final 28 circuits. Cody Overton Gets Ninth Win of Season at Senoia!

(November 13, 2023) Over a rainy weekend in the Peach State, Cody Overton was able to pick up a victory in his lone event on Thursday, November 9 at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia! In the 'Peach State Classic,' Cody earned Fast Time honors of the 31 entrants during 602 Late Model qualifying and later rolled off from the pole position in the 20-lap main event. The Evans, Georgia standout then beat Brandon McDaniel, Morgan Alexander, Chaz Haskins, and Cass Fowler to the checkered flag to collect the $3,400 top prize for his ninth win of the 2023 campaign! Overton Enters 17th Annual World Finals at Charlotte

(November 5, 2023) A total of 74 Super Late Model competitors piled into the pit area at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina from November 1-4 for the 17th edition of the 'World Finals,' which served as the finale for the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series season. Following the qualifying sessions on Wednesday, a pair of $15,000 winner's checks were on the line the next two days at the Charlotte-area speedplant. On Thursday evening, Cody Overton ran thirteenth in his heat race and tenth in his B-Main. In a similar showdown on Friday night, Cody placed fifth in his loaded heat race and eighth in his B-Main.

In the 'World Finals' grand finale on Saturday, which boasted a whopping $25,000 first place prize, Cody finished eleventh in his heat race and sixteenth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Evans, Georgia standout was unable to transfer into the three feature events during his stint at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. Cody Overton Climbs Ten Spots in National 100

(October 30, 2023) The month of October for Cody Overton wrapped up in a big way from October 28-29 in the 49th Annual 'National 100' at the historic East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama, which shelled out a $49,000 first place prize. On Saturday during preliminary action, Cody was not able to record an official lap during qualifying, but did rally to finish fifth in his loaded heat race. Following a B-Main triumph on Sunday, Cody streaked past ten competitors during the 100-lap headliner to land in the eighth finishing position. Overton Lands in Eldora Speedway Victory Lane!!!

(October 23, 2023) Evans, Georgia standout Cody Overton celebrated in victory lane at the famed Eldora Speedway on Sunday, October 22 with the Steel Block Late Model Series! After winning his heat race on Saturday evening at the "Big E," Cody rolled off from the inside of the third row in yesterday's A-Main. He then captured the $5,000 payday in the contest by besting K.C. Burdette, Taylor Puckett, Derek Rogers, and Zach Milbee. The Bruce Kane Racing team also entered the $100,000 to win 'Dirt Track World Championship,' but Cody was unfortunately not able to transfer into the 100-lap Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series main event after finishing tenth in both his heat race and his B-Main. Cody Overton Leads Early in $15,000 Fall Classic at Whynot

(October 15, 2023) Cody Overton was back in action on October 13-14 at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. The unsanctioned 'Coors Light Fall Classic' was on tap and the weekend started with twin $3,000 to win preliminary programs for the Super Late Models on Friday night. Cody timed in second fastest in Group A during qualifying, won his heat race, and later placed fourth in the 30-lap feature behind only victor Clay Harris, Chad Thrash, and Garrett Alberson. With a $15,000 top prize up for grabs on Saturday evening, Cody also won his heat race and led laps 3-5 of the 60-lapper before retiring with mechanical trouble on lap 17, which dropped him to eighteenth in the final rundown. Overton Leads Southern Showcase Finale; Finishes Third!

(October 8, 2023) Over the October 6-7 weekend, the Bruce Kane Racing team was in the pit area at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia for the 'Southern Showcase,' which was sanctioned by the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series. On Friday night in the $5,000 to win opener, Cody Overton placed fourth in his loaded heat race and eleventh in the 30-lap feature event. With a $23,000 payday up for grabs in Saturday's finale, Cody earned Fast Time honors during qualifying, won his heat race, and later led the first 44 circuits in the 60-lap headliner. (October 1, 2023) Cody Overton, of Evans, Georgia, invaded Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on September 29-30 for the 'Red Farmer Tribute.' In Friday's Crate Racin' USA Series program, Cody won his heat race in preliminary action, but later ran into trouble during the $3,700 to win main event and was ultimately paid for a twenty-first place showing. At TST on Saturday evening with a $6,000 paycheck up for grabs, Cody finished fifth in his heat race, won his consolation event, and later placed seventeenth in the final rundown of the 60-lapper. Cody Overton Wins WISSOTA 100 Prelim; Third in Headliner!

(September 17, 2023) Cody Overton drove a Don Shaw-owned machine from September 13-16 at I-94 EMR Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Things kicked off on Wednesday evening with the WISSOTA Challenge Series finale, which boasted a $2,500 paycheck. Cody timed in third quickest in his group during qualifying before securing a victory in his heat race. After starting fifth on the grid in the 40-lap main event, Cody was able to climb up to fourth to trail only victor Pat Doar, Ryan Mikkelson, and Dustin Sorensen.

After posting a tenth place finish in Thursday's prelim feature, Cody was victorious on Friday night to bag the $400 payday for his prelim win. The Evans, Georgia ace then started second on the grid in Saturday's 50-lap WISSOTA 100 headliner, which shelled out a $10,000 first place prize. Cody hung around the front for the entire distance and was able to round out the podium in third behind only race winner Tyler Peterson and runner-up Cole Searing. Overton Advances into World 100 Opener at Eldora

(September 10, 2023) The #15k team looked to conquer the world from September 7-9 in the 53rd edition of the famed 'World 100' at the hallowed grounds of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The three-day crown jewel spectacular started with a pair of split-field, $12,000 to win preliminary programs. In Thursday's opener, Cody Overton grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race before placing twenty-second in his 25-lap feature. At Eldora in a similar contest on Friday night, Cody unfortunately narrowly missed out on his 25-lapper after running sixth in his heat race and third in his B-Main.

When Saturday evening rolled around at the 1/2-mile, high-banked Buckeye State speedplant, all eyes in the Dirt Late Model industry were focused on who would emerge victorious in the 'World 100.' Cody finished seventh in his stacked heat race prior to placing twenty-third in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Evans, Georgia ace was unable to transfer into the $56,000 to win headliner that was ultimately won by Hudson O'Neal. (September 4, 2023) Cody Overton, of Evans, Georgia, was back in action on September 2-3 in 'The Big One' at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Georgia. The 602 Late Model special shelled out a whopping $20,000 first place prize. Cody ran second in his heat race and later started Sunday's 75-lap headliner from the inside of the fourth row. "Lil Sexy" was then able to blast up to the second spot during the course of the race before slipping to fifth at the checkers to trail only victor John Ruggiero, Jr., Carson Ferguson, Mark Whitener, and Caleb Gray. Cody Overton Eighth in $50k Rumble by the River

(August 27, 2023) Next up on the racing calendar for Bruce Kane Racing was a trio of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series throwdowns in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania. Up first was the 'Melvin L. Joseph Memorial' on Thursday night, August 24 at Georgetown Speedway in Georgetown, Delaware, which boasted an $18,049 payday. Cody Overton ran seventh in both his heat race and his B-Main, but was later awarded a fast time provisional to gain access into the 49-lap main event. Cody then blasted up inside of the top ten during the contest before eventually settling for a twelfth place performance.

On August 25-26, the annual running of the 'Rumble by the River' was held at the sprawling Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. On Friday evening in his split-field, $5,000 to win preliminary program, Cody won his heat race in preliminary action before placing fourth at the unfurling of the checkered flag in the 25-lapper behind only winner Hudson O'Neal, Rick Eckert, and Ricky Thornton, Jr. With a whopping $50,000 paycheck up for grabs in Saturday's grand finale, Cody grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race prior to advancing up to finish eighth in the 50-lap headliner. (August 20, 2023) Cody Overton and Bruce Kane Racing traveled to Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, August 19 for a Super Late Model special event, which boasted a $5,000 payday. Cody ran fourth in heat race action and later rolled off from the inside of the eighth row in the 25-lap main event. The Evans, Georgia standout then unfortunately broke a transmission early in the feature distance and retired in the twenty-fourth position. Overton Narrowly Misses Out on Cherokee Biggie

(August 14, 2023) Cody Overton, of Evans, Georgia, invaded Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina from August 11-13 for the 'Summer South Sizzler,' which was sanctioned by the American All-Stars Series. On Friday night during preliminary action, Cody timed in sixteenth quickest in Group A during the Crate Late Model qualifying session prior to placing seventh in his loaded heat race. Following a rain-out on Saturday, Cody ran third in his B-Main on Sunday, but only the top two runners out of the consolation race transferred into the $20,000 to win headliner.
