(October
6, 2024) Next up for the #97 team was a trip
to the sprawling Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway
in Imperial, Pennsylvania on October 4-5 for the 36th
edition of the ‘Pittsburgher 100,’ which
was once again sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series. With a $10,000 payday up for grabs in
Friday’s weekend opener, Cody Overton ran fifth
in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and eighteenth
in the 30-lap feature event. On Saturday evening at
PPMS with a whopping $50,000 first place prize on
the line, Cody finished sixth in his heat race, second
in his B-Main, and fifteenth in the 70-lap headliner.

29, 2024) Back on the World of Outlaws CASE
Construction Late Model Series trail on September 27-28,
Cody Overton found himself competing for a pair of $15,000
top prizes at both Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, Louisiana
and Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas. On Friday night
at Boothill, Cody nabbed the fourth transfer spot through
his heat race before picking off seven competitors during
the 50-lap main event en route to a solid eighth place
showing. In the Lone Star State on Saturday evening,
Cody finished fourth in his heat race and twenty-third

22, 2024) The Tri Star Promotions team and driver
Cody Overton debuted a new Rocket Chassis over the September
20-21 weekend in the 'Mark Fields Memorial' at Thunderhill
Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee. On Friday night
in the $5,000 to win weekend opener, Cody ran third in
his consolation race prior to starting and finishing sixteenth
in the 30-lap feature. With a $15,000 payday up for grabs
on Saturday evening, Cody finished second in his heat
race before winding up seventeenth in the final rundown

Overton Claims 604 Crate Win at Swainsboro!!
(September
1, 2024) Cody Overton, of Evans, Georgia, celebrated
in victory lane for the second time in 2024 on Saturday
night, August 31 at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia!
After earning Fast Time honors during 604 Late Model qualifying
and winning his heat race, Cody came out on top of the weekly
feature event to pocket the $1,000 first place prize money.
On Thursday evening, August 29 at Swainsboro, a $600 winner's
check was on the line for the 604 Late Models. Cody stopped
the clock third fastest overall during time trials before
running third in the 30-lap feature behind only victor Kam
Boyd and runner-up Ricky McClain. Full results from both

Follows Outlaws Tour to Atomic Speedway

25, 2024) The World of Outlaws CASE Construction
Late Model Series took the #97 team to Atomic Speedway in
Alma, Ohio on August 23-24 for the two-day 'Fireball 50.'
On Friday night in the weekend opener with a $10,000 payday
on the line, Cody Overton ran second in his heat race prior
to slipping to fourteenth in the final rundown of the 40-lap
feature. With a $15,000 top prize up for grabs on Saturday
evening in the finale, Cody placed third in his heat race
and was up to the sixth spot in the 50-lap main event until
he slammed the turn one wall on a lap nine restart. The incident
dropped the Evans, Georgia ace to a disappointing twenty-fourth

Sixth in $20k Hawkeye 100 Finale!
(August
18, 2024) The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late
Model Series schedule heated back up from August 14-17 with
events in both the states of Illinois and Iowa. On Wednesday
night in a $10,000 to win throwdown at Highland Speedway in
Highland, Illinois, Cody Overton grabbed the fourth and final
transfer spot through his heat race prior to finishing thirteenth
in the final rundown of the 40-lap feature. Thursday's scheduled
stop at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois was then nixed
due to inclement weather.
The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted
to Maquoketa Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa over the weekend for
two-day 'Hawkeye 100.' In Friday's $10,000 to win program, Cody
earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session before
placing seventh in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and
seventeenth in the 40-lapper. With a whopping $20,000 paycheck
up for grabs on Saturday evening, Cody won his heat race and
later led the first four circuits of the 60-lap headliner prior
to slipping to sixth at the checkers to trail only victor Brian
Shirley, Nick Hoffman, Brandon Sheppard, Ryan Gustin, and Chris

North to Wisconsin for USA Nationals
(August
4, 2024) Tri Star Promotions followed the World of Outlaws
CASE Construction Late Model Series north to the renowned Cedar
Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin for the 37th edition
of the 'USA Nationals' on August 1-3. After Thursday's $6,000
to win preliminary show was pushed to Friday afternoon due to
inclement weather, Cody Overton ran fourth in his heat race, third
in his B-Main, and twenty-fifth in the 25-lap main event. In the
nightcap on Friday night, which also boasted a $6,000 winner's
check, Cody blasted past fifteen competitors during the 25-lapper
to salvage a respectable eleventh place performance.
With a whopping $50,000 first place prize up for
grabs on Saturday evening, Cody finished fourth in his B-Main
and later received a series provisional to start at the tail of
the 100-lap crown jewel headliner. The Evans, Georgia standout
ultimately wound up twenty-fifth in the final rundown of the 'USA
Nationals,' which was cut short to only 56 circuits due to rain

Star Promotions Busy at Davenport and Fairbury
(July
28, 2024) Following a strong fifth place effort with
the XR Super Series on Monday night on the 1/4-mile oval at Davenport
Speedway in Davenport, Iowa, Cody Overton and the Tri Star Promotions
team headed to Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois. The busy
stretch of racing in the Land of Lincoln started on Wednesday
with a $20,000 to win Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series
program. Cody advanced to second in his loaded heat race, but
later slipped to thirteenth in the final finishing order of the
50-lap main event.
The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model
Series then roared into #FALS over the July 26-27 weekend to preside
over the 34th Annual 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' Cody laid down the
twenty-second quickest time in Group A prior to placing eleventh
in his $5,000 to win 'Prairie Dirt Showdown' feature. With a whopping
$50,000 top prize up for grabs in Saturday's PDC finale, Cody
finished fourteenth in his B-Main and was unfortunately unable

(July
20, 2024) The #97 team competed with the DIRTcar Summer
Nationals and MARS Racing Series on July 18-19 in a pair of special
events in the Land of Lincoln. With a $6,000 top prize up for
grabs on Thursday night in a rain-postponed "Hell Tour"
show at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois, Cody Overton
ran second in his heat race, but unfortunately suffered mechanical
woes on lap 14 of the feature and was relegated to a disappointing
eighteenth place showing. At Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City,
Illinois on Friday evening with the MARS tour, Cody placed third
in his heat race and fourteenth in the final rundown of the $5,000

Heads to Pennsylvania & Ohio with Outlaws
(July
14, 2024) The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late
Model Series took the Tri Star Promotions team to the states of
Pennsylvania and Ohio from July 11-13 for a trio of special events.
The triple shot kicked off on Thursday night at the sprawling
Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania with the $15,000 to
win Billy Winn Classic. Cody Overton ran second in his heat race,
but was hampered by a flat tire in the 45-lap main event. However,
Cody was able to rally from the back of the pack to salvage a
steady ninth place performance.
The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted to
Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio for the two-day 'Battle at the
Border.' In the opener on Friday evening, which shelled out a
$10,000 top prize, Cody placed third in his heat race and fourteenth
in the 40-lapper. With a $15,000 winner's check on the line in
Saturday's weekend finale, Cody finished fourth in his heat race
and sixteenth in the final rundown of the 50-lap headliner. Complete

Overton Goes for Wild Ride in $50k Gopher 50
(July
7, 2024) Next up on the racing calendar for the #97 team
was a visit to Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota
from July 4-6 for the annual running of the 'Gopher 50.' Following
a rain-out on Thursday, a day/night doubleheader was set for Friday
to get both $7,000 to win preliminary programs in the book. During
the daytime affair, Cody Overton placed fifth in his heat race,
fifth in the B-Main, and twenty-first in the 30-lap feature. In
the nightcap, Cody ran third in his loaded heat race and seventeenth
in the 30-lapper.
A huge crowd was then on hand on Saturday evening
for the 'Gopher 50' grand finale, which boasted a whopping $50,000
payday. Cody finished fifth in the B-Main and later started the
75-lap headliner from the inside of the eleventh row. The Evans,
Georgia standout then tried to move forward during the 'Gopher
50,' but unfortunately went for a wild ride during the feature
and flipped his Tri Star Promotions ride. Cody was unscathed in

Sets Fast Time; Finishes Sixth at River Cities!
(July
1, 2024) The #97 team was busy in the states of Iowa,
Minnesota, and North Dakota from June 24-30, as four World of
Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series tilts were held at
four different venues. Up first was a pair of $10,000 to win shootouts
in the Hawkeye State early in the week. On Monday at Independence
Motor Speedway in Independence, Iowa, Cody Overton ran seventh
in his heat race before passing eight competitors during the 40-lap
feature on his way to a twelfth place outing. At Hamilton County
Speedway in Webster City, Iowa on Tuesday, Cody placed fifth in
his heat race and twenty-second in the final rundown of the 35-lapper.
Over the weekend, the action shifted north to Norman
County Raceway in Ada, Minnesota and River Cities Speedway in
Grand Forks, North Dakota. With a $15,000 top prize up for grabs
on Saturday evening at Norman County, Cody suffered mechanical
woes in his heat race prior to rebounding to finish third in his
B-Main and eleventh in the 50-lap headliner. On Sunday night at
River Cities gunning for the $12,000 paycheck, the Evans, Georgia
ace earned Fast Time honors in qualifying, ran second in his heat
race, and later moved up a spot in the 40-lap main event to land

Overton Shows Speed with Outlaws
(June
23, 2024) Following an eleventh place showing with the
DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Tuesday at Davenport Speedway in Davenport,
Iowa, Cody Overton and the #97 team trekked to the states of Tennessee,
Kentucky, and Indiana with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction
Late Model Series on June 20-22. On Thursday evening at Thunderhill
Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee, Cody ran second in his
heat race, but later led the first nine circuits of the 40-lapper
from the pole position. At the conclusion of the $10,000 to win
race, Cody found himself tenth in the final finishing order in
the Volunteer State.
At Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky
on Friday night, Cody once again ran second in his heat race before
drawing the pole position for the $15,000 to win headliner. Unfortunately,
the Evans, Georgia ace broke a motor at the outset of the 50-lap
contest and was relegated to a disappointing twenty-fourth place
effort. In Saturday's $15,000 to win 'Hoosier Dirt Classic' at
Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana, Cody ran fifth in
his stacked heat race and twenty-first in the 50-lap main event.

of Top Tens in Summer Nationals Action
(June
17, 2024) Cody Overton kicked off the 2024 DIRTcar Summer
Nationals tour from June 12-16 with five events in the Land of
Lincoln. However, only three shows escaped the wrath of Mother
Nature, as stops at Kankakee County Speedway and Sycamore Speedway
were nixed by inclement weather. In the $5,000 to win opener on
Wednesday at Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois, Cody unfortunately
missed out on the 30-lap main event after running ninth in his
heat race and seventh in the B-Main.
Things went much smoother for the #97 team over
the weekend in $10,000 to win specials at Tri-City Speedway in
Granite City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois.
On Friday night at Granite City, Cody placed fourth in his heat
race before picking off seven competitors during the 40-lapper
en route to a steady seventh place showing. At FALS on Saturday
evening, Cody won his heat race, led the opening ten circuits
of the 50-lap headliner from the pole, and ultimately crossed
underneath the checkers in the eighth finishing position. Complete

Visits Kokomo for Monday XR Clash
(June
11, 2024) Following the big weekend at Eldora Speedway,
Cody Overton dropped into Kokomo Speedway on Monday, June 10.
The XR Super Series sanctioned a $15,000 to win showdown in the
Hoosier State and 18 Super Late Model competitors signed into
the pit area at the Kokomo, Indiana facility. Cody timed in fourteenth
fastest during qualifying prior to running sixth in his heat race.
After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the 50-lap
headliner, Cody fought hard for a top ten showing before retiring

9, 2024) Cody Overton and Tri Star Promotions invaded
the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on June 7-8 for the
30th edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' On Friday night in
his $25,000 to win preliminary program, Cody clicked off the nineteenth
quickest lap in Group A during qualifying before grabbing the
fifth and final transfer spot through his heat race. The Evans,
Georgia ace then picked off six competitors during the 50-lap
feature en route to a steady fourteenth place showing.
A huge crowd then filed into Eldora Speedway on
Saturday evening for the completion of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream,'
which boasted a whopping $100,030 winner's check. Cody blasted
past four racecars during his heat race to finish third and later
rolled off from the outside of the seventh row in the 100-lap
crown jewel headliner. In his first 'Dirt Late Model Dream,' Cody
recorded a nineteenth place effort in the extra distance affair.
