Turkey 100 Weekend for Cody Overton
(December
1, 2024) "Lil' Sexy"
Cody Overton was busy on November 29-30
at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro,
Georgia, as he competed in three different
divisions during the annual 'Turkey
100.' His best effort of the weekend
came in the 602 Late Model class. Cody
ran second in his heat race on Friday
night prior to passing two competitors
during Saturday's main event to finish
fourth behind only $5,000 winner John
Ruggiero, Jr., Cameron Tribble, and
Bubba Roling!
With another $5,000 payday
up for grabs in the Road Warrior division,
Cody placed third in his heat race and
seventh in the 30-lap feature. The 'Turkey
100' was headlined by a visit by the
Crate Racin' USA Series and a $10,000
first place prize was on the line. Cody
unfortunately missed out on the 50-lapper
after finishing seventh in his heat

24, 2024) Evans, Georgia standout
Cody Overton invaded Needmore Speedway
in Norman Park, Georgia on November 22-23
for the annual running of the 'Early Bird
50.' The Crate Racin' USA Late Model Series
presided over the 604 Late Model portion
of the program, which boasted a $10,000
payday. Cody started off his weekend by
laying down the third quickest time in
his group on Friday night prior to finishing
third in heat race action. After starting
Saturday's 50-lap headliner from the inside
of the fourth row, Cody streaked past
a handful of competitors to finish an
impressive runner-up behind only victor

Classic!

18, 2024) Cody Overton made a surprise
appearance during the annual 'Peach State
Classic' at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia
from November 15-17 and swept the 602 Late
Model portion of the weekend to up his 2024
win total to four! Behind the wheel of a
#01 machine owned by Ben and Josh Lanford,
Cody set Fast Time in qualifying on Friday
night prior to picking up the $700 triumph
in the feature over Wiley McDaniel, Payton
Stevenson, Lark Haskins, and Chaz Haskins.
On Sunday in the weekend finale for the
602's, Cody once again laid down the quickest
lap during the qualifying session before
winning the main event to pocket another
$700 payday over Payton Stevenson, Kyler
Haygood, Nickelos Stiles, and Daniel Brewer!

Wraps Up Outlaws Season at Charlotte
(November
10, 2024) Tri Star Promotions invaded
the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord,
North Carolina from November 6-9 for the 18th
edition of the ‘World Finals,’
which was sanctioned by the World of Outlaws
CASE Construction Late Model Series. Following
time trials on Wednesday, a pair of $15,000
to win preliminary programs were on tap the
next two nights. On Thursday night, Cody Overton
grabbed the third transfer spot through his
heat race prior to placing twenty-first in
the final rundown of the 35-lap feature. In
Friday's show, Cody ran eighth in his heat
race, fifth in his B-Main, and twenty-fourth
in the 35-lapper.
In front of a huge grandstand
crowd on Saturday, a hefty $25,000 first place
prize was up for grabs in the finale for the
ground-pounding Super Late Models. Cody started
and finished fourth in his Last Chance Showdown
and was unfortunately unable to make the start
in the 50-lap headliner. After the final points
were tallied, the Evans, Georgia ace placed
thirteenth in the World of Outlaws Late Model

National 100 Weekend for Cody Overton
(November
4, 2024) Cody Overton took part in
the 50th Annual 'National 100' on November 2-3
at the historic East Alabama Motor Speedway
in Phenix City, Alabama. In Saturday's $15,000
to win weekend opener for the Super Late Models,
Cody finished seventh in his heat race, but
later charged past fourteen competitors during
the 50-lap feature to land in the sixth spot.
With a $30,000 top prize on the line in the
finale on Sunday evening, Cody ran sixth in
his heat race before salvaging a tenth place
performance in the attrition-filled 100-lapper.
Behind the wheel of a 604 Late
Model, Cody qualified quickest during Saturday's
qualifying session to earn the inside of the
second row for the start of the $5,000 to win
main event. After leading laps 12 and 13 in
Sunday's contest, the Evans, Georgia standout
suffered a flat left rear tire while battling
for the top spot on the 22nd circuit. Cody rejoined
the field at the tail and rallied to salvage
a third place podium effort behind only victor

Solid Runs for Overton in Whynot's Fall Classic

27, 2024) The Tri Star Promotions team
and Cody Overton ventured to Whynot Motorsports
Park in Meridian, Mississippi on October 25-26
for the 30th edition of the Coors Light 'Fall
Classic.' In the Super Late Model split-field
opener on Friday night, which shelled out a $3,000
first place prize, Cody advanced to second in
his heat race prior to starting and finishing
fourth in his 30-lap feature behind only victor
Ashton Winger, Shane Clanton, and Josh Putnam.
With a $20,000 payday up for grabs on Saturday,
Cody once again ran second in his heat race and
later picked off a handful of competitors during
the 60-lap headliner to land in the sixth finishing

13, 2024) Cody Overton pulled double duty
during the 'Cotton Pickin' weekend at Magnolia Motor
Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on October 11-12.
In Comp Cams Super Dirt Series action, Cody laid
down the quickest time in Group B during Super Late
Model qualifying on Friday night and later secured
a heat race triumph. After rolling off from the
outside of the front row in Saturday's 60-lap main
event, Cody wound up fourth at the unfurling of
the checkered flag behind only $20,000 victor Ethan
Dotson, Ashton Winger, and Brandon Overton!
The Evans, Georgia standout also vied
for the $3,000 top prize in 604 Crate Late Model
action over the weekend at "The Mag."
Cody went fourth fastest during Friday's qualifying
session and later ran second in his heat race. After
starting the A-Main from the outside of the second
row, Cody blasted up to second to finish a strong
runner-up behind only race winner Hayden Moran!

Overton Competes in Pittsburgher 100 Weekend
(October
6, 2024) Next up for the #97 team was a trip
to the sprawling Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway
in Imperial, Pennsylvania on October 4-5 for the 36th
edition of the ‘Pittsburgher 100,’ which
was once again sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series. With a $10,000 payday up for grabs in
Friday’s weekend opener, Cody Overton ran fifth
in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and eighteenth
in the 30-lap feature event. On Saturday evening at
PPMS with a whopping $50,000 first place prize on
the line, Cody finished sixth in his heat race, second
in his B-Main, and fifteenth in the 70-lap headliner.

29, 2024) Back on the World of Outlaws CASE
Construction Late Model Series trail on September 27-28,
Cody Overton found himself competing for a pair of $15,000
top prizes at both Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, Louisiana
and Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas. On Friday night
at Boothill, Cody nabbed the fourth transfer spot through
his heat race before picking off seven competitors during
the 50-lap main event en route to a solid eighth place

20-21 weekend in the 'Mark Fields Memorial' at Thunderhill
Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee. On Friday night
in the $5,000 to win weekend opener, Cody ran third in
his consolation race prior to starting and finishing sixteenth
in the 30-lap feature. With a $15,000 payday up for grabs
on Saturday evening, Cody finished second in his heat
race before winding up seventeenth in the final rundown

1, 2024) Cody Overton, of Evans, Georgia, celebrated
in victory lane for the second time in 2024 on Saturday
night, August 31 at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia!
After earning Fast Time honors during 604 Late Model qualifying
and winning his heat race, Cody came out on top of the weekly
feature event to pocket the $1,000 first place prize money.
On Thursday evening, August 29 at Swainsboro, a $600 winner's
check was on the line for the 604 Late Models. Cody stopped
the clock third fastest overall during time trials before
running third in the 30-lap feature behind only victor Kam
Boyd and runner-up Ricky McClain. Full results from both

Follows Outlaws Tour to Atomic Speedway

25, 2024) The World of Outlaws CASE Construction
Late Model Series took the #97 team to Atomic Speedway in
Alma, Ohio on August 23-24 for the two-day 'Fireball 50.'
On Friday night in the weekend opener with a $10,000 payday
on the line, Cody Overton ran second in his heat race prior
to slipping to fourteenth in the final rundown of the 40-lap
feature. With a $15,000 top prize up for grabs on Saturday
evening in the finale, Cody placed third in his heat race
and was up to the sixth spot in the 50-lap main event until
he slammed the turn one wall on a lap nine restart. The incident
dropped the Evans, Georgia ace to a disappointing twenty-fourth

Sixth in $20k Hawkeye 100 Finale!
(August
18, 2024) The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late
Model Series schedule heated back up from August 14-17 with
events in both the states of Illinois and Iowa. On Wednesday
night in a $10,000 to win throwdown at Highland Speedway in
Highland, Illinois, Cody Overton grabbed the fourth and final
transfer spot through his heat race prior to finishing thirteenth
in the final rundown of the 40-lap feature. Thursday's scheduled
stop at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois was then nixed
due to inclement weather.
The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted
to Maquoketa Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa over the weekend for
two-day 'Hawkeye 100.' In Friday's $10,000 to win program, Cody
earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session before
placing seventh in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and
seventeenth in the 40-lapper. With a whopping $20,000 paycheck
up for grabs on Saturday evening, Cody won his heat race and
later led the first four circuits of the 60-lap headliner prior
to slipping to sixth at the checkers to trail only victor Brian
Shirley, Nick Hoffman, Brandon Sheppard, Ryan Gustin, and Chris

North to Wisconsin for USA Nationals
(August
4, 2024) Tri Star Promotions followed the World of Outlaws
CASE Construction Late Model Series north to the renowned Cedar
Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin for the 37th edition
of the 'USA Nationals' on August 1-3. After Thursday's $6,000
to win preliminary show was pushed to Friday afternoon due to
inclement weather, Cody Overton ran fourth in his heat race, third
in his B-Main, and twenty-fifth in the 25-lap main event. In the
nightcap on Friday night, which also boasted a $6,000 winner's
check, Cody blasted past fifteen competitors during the 25-lapper
to salvage a respectable eleventh place performance.
With a whopping $50,000 first place prize up for
grabs on Saturday evening, Cody finished fourth in his B-Main
and later received a series provisional to start at the tail of
the 100-lap crown jewel headliner. The Evans, Georgia standout
ultimately wound up twenty-fifth in the final rundown of the 'USA
Nationals,' which was cut short to only 56 circuits due to rain
